One of my family's go to spots in the Ontario area! Building our own hot pots is always so much fun, and I love how everyone can get a meal customized to their tastes and preferences, with preset options too. The BYO boba bar also looks cool, though I've never tried it. I liked how the hot pots are served on the burners so that the food and broth stays warm and fresh throughout the entire meal, unlike most malatang places that serve it in a bowl. We've celebrated a birthday here and the service was spectacular- refrigerating and bringing out the cake and providing a lighter, plates, and forks for us to enjoy it.

I recommend ordering from the menu instead of buffet style "weight and pay". Good taste, we enjoyed the dine-in. Like the self-served drink stations and the selection of different kind of beverages. Not many workers but then again, not much interaction's needed. Overall good taste but not dying to go back. Restaurant is ok clean, plenty of parking, server was helpful and friendly.

Hands down the best self-served hot pot restaurant in the IE! The service is always great and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. I recommend the Sukiyaki broth/soup base and spicy is the way to go.

Service here was great! Friendly staff and fast food service! It's a good deal for a good amount of food and drink if you want! If you order and add the combo you can get boba for only $3/$3.50 depending on the size you want! The food was great and it was a good amount to keep me full for hours! I got the beef stew and there was a good amount of veggies and meat that I stayed full

Love this place for DIY hot pot and Boba for a reasonable price! I've been coming to hot pot mini workshop for years now, and everyone I've introduced it to loves it! They've recently re-vamp'd their selection so now there's even more items to pick from. You can either build your own (by weight) or get their preset meals. I love the original beef broth extra spicy, and my favorite ingredients are fried tofu, beef, noodles, and various veg. They also have a boba bar for you to fill up on slush, milk tea, and fruit teas. We went during happy hour during the summer and a full hot pot + drink was under 20 bucks!

I liked it. A slightly different kind of hot pot place. You can either build your own pot and you'll be charged by the weight. Or they have a nice choice of preset hot pots. They put a little flame canister under the pot to heat it up. Unfortunately there's no way to turn it down so if it gets too hot you can just ask them to put the flame out. My friends made their own, but I got the preset Lamb hot pot. It was good! A good portion amount. I finished it but I can see 2 lighter eaters sharing one pot. The broth was very tasty. I only got the mild but it still had a little spice to it. Will probably get medium next time. They also have a neat little boba station where you can make your own. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Nice to see more hot pot options in the IE. Inside was simple. A few tables for seating but still a good place for small groups. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.
